0 goal, 3 assists in his last 16 games.

1 goal and 6 assists in his last 25 games last season.

We better trade this guy asap. It's not a player that you can trust or rely on.

He also had 15 points in 19 games to start the season and was playing the best hockey of his career before he broke his wrist... He did not recover form when he returned, and does not look to be at all in form right now.

He showed us he was an impact forward when he was on, but the problem is he is a negative contributor when he is off (what we saw last night). He is not a 3rd liner but a more important offensive player, and this kind of inconsistency is very problematic.

I like to be optimistic and hope we will see October Drouin come back in top mental and physical shape for next season and be able to avoid injuries and have a great year, but I would also be fine if management decides to move on and can find value in a trade return.

No one cares
Torts might be the best thing to happen to Drouin's career.
Bang on! It is what he needs, there is no way that a guy as talented as Drouin should be performing with the level of inconsistency he has shown. He needs a tough coach to turn him into the LaFlamme that we saw in Goon Last of the enforcers. He is the most talented player on the habs and he is pissing it away, he could really use a Torterella type in his life.

Im gonna say the unthinkable, but maybe Therrien would've been a better coach for Drouin than Julien.

I feel dirty now

So Domi and Droin had good chemistry in the past..."oh, wait let's not play them together" thinks CJ. :(

Maybe Julien is not permitted to demote him or call him out because of him being one of Bergevin's big trades. He rarely says anything about him in the press but he demotes KK to the fourth line or staples him to the bench while Drouing drifts aimlessly around the ice shift after shift.

You're right. Therrien would probably have to deal with the same thing.

It's not just Torts that would be best for him, but also taking away his keys to this city, removing him from this undeserved and forced upon icon status, making him an anonymous nobody in a nontraditional hockey market

Drouin needs to go. He is paid 5.5 millions/year but he is playing like a 2 millions player. If he stays he screws the intern salary cap. Danault, Domi, Tatar, Gallagher and Petry are all 5 to 6 millions/year caliber player but because of the Drouin contract they will all ask 6 to 7 millions.

Domi and Drouin bleeds goals and shots against. There is no way a coach trying to choke the life out of a game would pair them together.

There is other things to criticize Julien for, that's just a smart decision.

On verra bien...»
