Does anyone know if career ending eye injuries are contagious? On what may or may not be a related note, does anyone know if Boychuk and Eberle are friends?

Well, an untreated case of pink eye can get pretty nasty.
But I think the Isles are going to be OK, I assume Lou will send Ladd to take his camp physical on the top floor of a nine-story walkup and, given his multitude of lower-body injuries, that should do it for him.
Then just get Eberle hooked on Seattle coffee this season, so his move out West via expansion isn't too big of a shock to his system.
Boars Head and Heineken - advertising can make some people buy anything.
If I was in Iowa and jonesing for a pastrami sandwich I'd ask for Boars Head. But here in New York? Well, we can be better than that.

On a STH call with Lou . He said that he has convinced Johnny to come back to be part of the team "on the other side". So he will be around. Spoke glowingly of Johnny as exactly what you want in a hockey player. Said they did not know when JB originally went for testing.
