Hey Teddy, do you know what's disrespectful? Being one of the worst teams in the history of the NHL ... talk about dissing your fans.

Murray built the team to lose, be mad at him not Nolan.

-------
Larsson being unprofessional in the media was a mistake made out of frustration, hopefully he grows up and learns from it. Nolan was right in his brief retort, it was disrespectful to the coaches, the players and the organization.

If the GM and coach have any sort of solid rapport, the GM doesn't arbitrarily make player movement decisions without consult. And in that scenario, bets the coach's call on a guy carries weight in the GM's decision-making. Who knows what the deal is in this regard btwn Murray and Nolan.

As for Larsson, for sure his mouth spoke as a youth, but it was once and maybe he's had enough heat for it? :dunno:

Either way though, gotta know most (all?) these guys think the same stuff (hate playing with so-and-so-, ice time isn't right, etc.) and natter quietly to those they trust about it. The fact Larsson spoke what he thought aloud is the only diff, and presumably he's learned the lesson.

Journalists.....make their own story remember that!

Welcome to the boards Minni! Your first post looks a bit rough on the quoting, but read your subject header for your actual comment and you are right of course -

"Journalists.....make their own story remember that!"

For sure.

Journalists make the story they want, don't you understand that. I heard that the story is taken from a swedish hockey newspaper without talking to JL. He has never talked anything about his teammates at all! It is not fair!! In Sweden we Love him both as good player and a person aswell!

Murray mentioned consulting with Nolan on call-ups recently, when they called up Ellis and Dalpe a few weeks ago. So, while the final decision is obviously Murray's, he does take the coach's opinion into account.
