With the team trying to win soon, we felt that the 2nd could be 3-5 years away anyways and Jarnkrok who looks to become a top 6 player as soon as two years, we felt it was a great move to make.

With Howard looking to be the future goalie for at least the next 5+ years we felt we could trade Allen for a potential future 2nd line winger. With getting Jarnkrok earlier in a trade we felt Jurco would be a great add.
