Well, whats good about this 1 week off is Jets have more practice time than during the preseason.
With that triple back to back , it seems the team havent gotten into a groove.

Jets will probably start slower than Avs but i expect a big and strong finish.

This wait period is only prepping us for the 9 day break from Jan 19 - Jan 29, with the player break and All Star break B2B. It is time for some hockey.

What is this pause all about? The NHL counted on everyone getting some kind of brain damage from Finland. That mostly never happens! The bright side is that it should mean less wait in the future since the season is pretty much over at the same time for everyone.



So Laine now passed Yzerman and Linden on the list since this picture. Still so many to go, c'mon Patty let's get rolling here.

Hope that doesn't make it to the main boards, imagine the fuss! (wink wink doublewink)

I’m not unhappy about this long break at all. The team wasn’t playing well and maybe this long break will give Paul Maurice some time to coach these guys a little more.

This vaunted Avalanche top line reminds me of 2016 ESL.

Early season, breakout centre, skilled Europeans, young superstars... The ESL line rocketed up the points and goals leaderboards as well.

Avalanche are a bit of a glass cannon in my opinion.

Edit: I think they are a great team, but I think their forwards after 3 aren't much.
