i imagine they'll get him in for 1-2 practices...but maybe i'm wrongI'm happy for Niku.
Hopefully, we'll see him play tomorrow.

what do you think happens if a player sits out 1 game?Yea, I don’t like idea of messing with a full season just for 1 game of rest either.
even line rushes or whatnot. The Jets won't be practicing at all on this road trip. If Maurice want to have a look at him, it will have to be in a game.
lol
Even Jets' scouts are in on the joke.
presidential not bush leagueI think Chevy should have called you personally to give you a heads up. Pretty bush league to let you find out via twitter
Think they've got a couple more plus emergency recalls?

he forgets how to hockey?
guessing you've never played sports 3-4 times a week consistently.Nah but he gets one less full season on his resume. Is 81 games that much more energy than 82 games?
I thought the Jets were out of recalls?

I think they have used all four now
I took the time to go thru the NHL transaction list from each day going back to the trade deadline.
Official list includes:
March 8th-Hutchinson
March 10th-Poolman
March 14th-Comrie (emergency recall)
April 1st-Niku
So there should be one remaining recall.

the quick answer: YES.
you rest up some aches and pains. 3 days in a row without getting smacked around heals you up real nice if you're aching.

I think Hutch was here on emergency recall when he was injured. So he went back down. Not sure but I think that left them with 2. Niku would leave 1 more.

Hmm, he must be getting close to some AHL scoring bonus that the team doesn't want to pay.
Comrie probably stopped being an emergency recall when we sent Hutch down.
I'd like to see him paired with Byfuglien to start. That's how they introduced Morrissey and Chiarot.
Roslovic?
1 Roslovic (paper at TD)
2 Hutch (paper at TD)
3 Poolman
4 Niku
That makes 4
None of nhl.com, rotoword, tsn, ect list this transaction.
I realize these paper deals occurred, but obviously something is up with this.
I was on board with Aavco's definitions of what constitutes a recall & thought we were out of callups as well.
Niku's recall proves this wasn't the case.
Hutch was called up again March 8th.
That would make 5.
Which is why I didn't list these transactions. Math didn't add up. Still doesn't.
Normally I'd scour a few more sites to figure this out, but busy today. Kinda killing time right now waiting for a client to show.
