Let's just forget about that game shall we? Played well 5 on 5 for the first two periods when we weren't taking penalties. Got frustrated in the 3rd and couldn't get the offence going. No puck luck and Rinne played well. Score one in the third and this would have been a completely different game. PK was also rock solid.

Please scratch Chairot for the next game.

This game made me very... angry.

I think we should start Brossoit next game to give Hellebuyck a break. He played well, I could be wrong on this fact, but I find that some of the defense seem to really rely on him.

Top line is staying out too long and getting tired in offensive zone leading to rushes the other way

Change needs to happen. Embarrassing start to the year for every jet forward, other than Connor and I guess Lowry and Tanev due to low offensive expectations.

The refs were pretty trash but that third period was rather uneventful and they let in another 2 goals.

At the end of the day they need to figure out how to score again.

And you couldn't argue with the first few penalties either.

Why ... they played an important part.
Against Calgary the other day ... Predators got the first 3 penalties and Calgary took the lead and never looked back ... just like the Leafs against Dallas. The Stars got no PPs until the Leafs got a lead. The refs do play a part in the games BUT the good teams can overcome that.

Yeah, the Jets could have played better and taken fewer careless penalties, but it's hard to win when you're shorthanded for an entire period.

Still early in the season. I'm not worried. I feel like the guys need some more oomph in their game. It still feels like we are rusty.

Well, they weren't that good tonight, so they couldn't really overcome it.

The penalties were pretty legit. There's some argument to be made that they were one-sided, but they weren't bad calls. They killed the penalties anyway. Then had a sub-par 3rd.

These kind of games just build to the rivalry/hatred between the two teams. Sucks that the Jets lost, but despite the penalty differential we had enough chances to score some goals but didn't... Rinne was solid

There will be upcoming games were the tables are turned and we get the majority of penalties and win the game.

A bunch of guys need to step up their offense. The defense pairings need to be figured out again.

The refs were going over-board, but the Jets still need to be more disciplined with the sticks and random fighting for no reason.

Hellebuyck is the glue holding the team together, from suffering more embarrassing losses.

This forced notion that it's somehow okay to have poor reffing against us is infuriating.

Nut the **** up like the big market boys and call it for what it is. The refs lost us this game. They got involved and put us behind the 8-ball. Unreal to me that so many people are okay with this

They deserve some credit for the Jets loss, but the team looked bad all by themselves.
