Eichel to Seattle for picking Skinner in the expansion draft… Removing two cancers at once…

Add the #2 overall and it would actually be a decent deal for the Sabres. Atleast if the proposal from other fans are anything to go by. #2 + taking Skinner would beat any package offered rather easily from what I have seen.

Mostly just helping the team out with an extra protection slot, they and he know that Seattle isn't coming near that thing. I mean, what's he gonna do, say no? Franchise made him rich as hell to hang out in the bottom 6.

Nice to see Skinner doing the Sabres a favor. There's zero chance Seattle takes him with that contract. Allows us to probably protect Asplund.

So Seattle isn't really going to have much to pick from off of our roster now (not like there was much to begin with).

Colin Miller or Zemgus Girgensons seem like the obvious targets for Seattle.

Maybe more like William Borgen, if you don't protect him.

Seattle's list comes down to:

Skinner, Girgensons, Eakin, Okposo, Miller, and Ristolainen.

That's with protecting Borgen. If the Sabres choose not to, then he goes to the list up top and Risto is probably protected.

GL to Seattle
