I'd do this from a Canucks POV. I think it costs you Demko to Move 2 years of Loui, and a 2nd + solid prospect is on the low end of what I'd like as a return. It would have to be a quality prospect to make this work.

Hutton would likely be bought in Utica and we'd eat the 1.4 mil for next year.

they would have to protect both Blackwood and Demko in the expansion draft and one of them would almost certainly be taken, so not sure that is a great use of assets
