Would be Cody Franson actually, he just happened to be atrocious everywhere else on the ice.

Franson didn’t have a shot anywhere near comparable to McCabe..... franson was very skilled at finding a seam to the net. He couldn’t get shots through screens.

A great game for him. It was a nice way to show what the brings across the board. Solid in his end, great shot, physical, and leads to people taking stupid penalties against him. Muzzin has fit in nicely without much trouble.
shh.

grapes and most leafs fans like him better than willy.

That second period sequence was a thing of beauty. The whole team fed off the energy he created. He can put up points with the supporting cast on this team.

Would love to get a physical RD and winger as well before the trade deadline.

Top pairing ES and utilized on both the PP and PK. Hits clean and plays with an edge without going over it. Fantastic game offensively tonight. Don't like to think too far ahead, but as the games progressively mean more, his impact will be increasingly evident.

Leafs voted with the best core players under 25, but how many teams can trade and sign guys like Andersen, Tavares, Muzzin in their prime? This team is on the verge of something special.

Muzzin is a two-way beast. He's basically the perfect d-man we need. He addresses so much.

You guys never knew what a good player Muzzin was. Glad you guys enjoy him, pay attention around the league more. He's always been this guy.

With all the credit he gets, and mostly deserves, this was probably his worst outing defensively. I was extremely impressed against Pittsburgh, this time he had some trouble getting the puck out, missed on a few pinching plays in the neutral zone, and had a few moments where he needed to get his bearings right.
