The good thing about guys like R. Smith is the cost to aquire. The flashy names like Buchnevich, Tarasenko, Mantha and Eberle are going to cost a fair bit, especially Buchnevich with him not being a free agent. Asking prices on all of those guys will be higher than Smith for sure.
