If the damn goal song can get multiple threads, this guy sure as hell can too!

leads team with 10 pts in 12 games.
leads team with +3
leads team in PP points with 4

Started slow (no preseason games though) with no points in first two games but has been PPG since then even in one of the worst starts in Devils history.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

As per jagrgod

Jagr stopped the salute a long long time ago. The only reason he did it for the flyers was because the team teased him about it and jagr was having the time of his life that year. Jagr loves to have fun, and when his team is winning and everything is going right THEN you MAY see the salute, if his teammates have teased him enough about it. The beginning of the Flyers season was just too magical for Jagr to not do it.

It sadly is probably not going to happen.

Regarding Jagr, its clear that he wants to be the go to guy. I had a feeling he would want this after he signed here. You can't trust anything Jagr says.. he says he wants to be a team player but i can almost guarantee you he thinks he still has what it takes to get it done on his own. He is still cocky & confident and hopefully he can stay healthy so us Jagr fans can enjoy this even longer.

He said it after the game, the "cockiness is back". Hockey however is a team sport and no one can do it "all on his own". What Jagr meant is that he has his confidence back to try and take over games but there will be times where he will get double teamed and he will run into hot goaltenders, I do however think he will maintain a PPG pace throughout the whole season as long as the team continues to win and as long as Jagr remains healthy.

Also don't overlook the chemistry that Elias and Jagr have going between them.

Love how confident he is with the puck. Can only imagine how much fun it would have been to watch him play on my favorite team in his prime. Instead, I had to tear my hair out watching him on all of our rivals.

Glad we have him, he has been great.

Here's hoping Jagr has a huge game tonight; he sits at 1698 career points and needs just 2 to hit the plateau. He needs 3 Pts to bring his season average to PPG pace. I hope he can do both.

unbelievable that Jagr is the best forward on the team at 41. It really makes you wonder, how many years could he possibly play in the NHL? He was arguably the best forward on the Stars last year.. and he is doing it again this year. On any team he would probably be 2nd or 3rd best player over all. If he stays healthy he could possibly play for 3+ years.. i mean how many players are top 2 in points for a team and make around 2 million?

It's crazy to think about.

Jagr is the Man both in his scoring and playmaking.

He also has a sense of humor like Cam Janssen.

So nice to have a Goal Song that's solid. Not RRP2 but it will do as a replacement. :D

Jagr is just astonishing me with his play. We knew he would be strong on the puck, but he is literally impossible to stop.

He makes space out of nothing, he is creating excellent chances with his passing, and obviously still shoot. He fits this team REALLY well.

Can't wait for his Czech buddy Elias to get back. Those two were building up some magic together before Patty's back went.

even if we end up crashing and burning this season, it will have been a privilege to have watched him wear a devils jersey. such a great player, and the draft pick we get for him won't be too bad either.

Hopefully we don't crash and burn....that way, we could get to see him do this thing in the playoffs. PLAYOFFS??? Yes, Playoffs. :sarcasm:

The sad thing about Jagr is that this will likely be his only year here. Whether he returns to the Czech to end his career there, or goes to play somewhere else in the NHL.

Our offense would be so completely piss poor without him right now. It's really scary to think about what it will be like when he's gone, and who we replace him with.
