I think this shutout was better than the LAK one, just based on how overrated offensively the LAK are.

Contrary to popular belief, the LAK are not a very good offensive team in the regular season. They struggle a lot to get past the 2 goal mark.

But since I said that, they'll score 4 or 5 on us on Saturday night.

A Good win...to continue onward in order to finish out the season because that's all the Devils are playing for now : PRIDE.

Which is fine, too 'cause I hate when they lose. Screw Draft Position. Win games, and annoy opposing fans and their teams by beating them.

But it's going to be so damn depressing after their last game against the Laffs in April when we realize there's no more hockey(aside from some OTHER team) anymore this season....again.

If I was a sharks fan Id be livid after that **** show. We really had no business winning that game. I know it was late, but I fell asleep like 4 times. Great game by kinky tho and you gotta like the effort blocking shots and covering second opportunities as well.

Yeah I went to sleep with the game on too but I heard the second goal so I figured it'd either be a happy recap or the travesty I still half expected Good for Keith though to rebound like that.

It's on the Sharks' website, sort of...they only posted like 75 seconds of it. Not even a hot goalie clip. Just talk about how the Sharks were coming back West after a 4 game in 6 day stretch and bad ice.

The perfect storm I guess - Sharks get back home after 4 games in 6 days and take NJ for granted who was well rested even with travel out West.

Devils controlled the puck very well and slowed SJ down to their game and it worked.
