It’s been interesting watching everyone go through the different stages of grief in this thread.

I think the bump is fair. Its been 2 months and it looks like playoffs are pretty much mathematically impossible.

Lets just say it was very rocky during this time.

In terms of P%, only 4 teams are below us. However of those teams, none have more than a game in hand. It’s unlikely we finish any lower than 5th. We also will probably string together some lucky wins at some point, so picking 8th+ would be my bet.

Okay, now its officially officially over. Pretty sure it'll be officially officially officially over and we'll get our nice 12th overall pick as restitution.

So the Canucks lost and the Habs are losing............

We could go 5-3 and make the playoffs with a 2 point cushion and I wouldn’t be that surprised.
The problem is we now have a gaping hole in our backend with Hanifin out.

We still have 2 losses against Van and 1 against Ottawa, no chance we go 5-0 versus the playoff teams. If we were going to make the playoffs we had to sweep the Canadiens.

Nobody wants this because they all know none of them would go very far

Its incredible how badly they've blown it.

Montreal 48 GP 21 Wins 51 Points
Calgary 48 GP 21 Wins 45 Points

One more win against Ottawa and one more regulation win against Montreal and they'd be dead even.

Team doesn’t have enough talents to be lazy.

They came to camp unfit to compete. Ward was unprepared and season is too short to recover.

On top of that there is little help in the system and f***ing around with Bennett and Kylington

Treliving just has to do the honor thing and resign from this disgrace. His NHL career needs a harakiri badly

I've said it before but if we're smart and trade the assets we have that hold value now instead of in 2-3 years when the value is gone and we consider the talent in the next 2 drafts because '22 and '23 look great at the high end where we are lacking there's lots to be optimistic about in embracing a rebuild. If we double down on Monahan and Gaudreau being the pieces that will carry us to a cup we have nothing to be optimistic about. We don't have Brodie - Gio (at his best) to carry our offense and defense from the back end anymore and we need a more consistent core and while I really wish we could have built around Gaudreau better as he's an incredible talent we can't fit him into a window that's 4 years into the future.

I want to know why Montreal and Vancouver are refusing to nail our coffin shut. They are going to take it right down to the wire before crushing the Flames.
