He's not even the worst player in cap era...

Brett Lebda and his -3 in an 8-3 win.
Can't forget Mike Komisarek. He was horrific here.
Olli Jokinen was horrible, he was acquired at the end of his career.
Petri Kontiola, came in people expected him to replace Bozak, guy couldn't skate.

Jokinen played 6 games here before he was traded again.

Komisarek gave no real indication his time was up. Wasn’t nearly 36 I don’t think…But did he bomb like few others.

Can’t forget him…But I try, lol.

friggin Clarkson. he owes Patrik Elias half of his contract. one of the most underrated players ever. consistently lead the Devils in scoring throughout the trap era and played an excellent 2 way game. everyone played better around him.

A 36 year old tough guy who sucks at hockey signed for 3 years? True not the worst signing ever, but very clearly a bad signing on day 1.
i agree it was a bad signing from the get go but as has been said he can and will eventually be sent down

he is the least of our problems holy crap u guys.

A quarter of our ES goals against have been scored on him, he’s actively sabotaging the team while adding literally nothing physically or offensively.

The only reason he’s a deterrent for rough stuff is because the other team doesn’t want to risk having the play blown dead when he’s on the ice as it’s a coin flip at scoring in the 30 seconds before he gets winded skating aimlessly.

I think KLING has been worse than Reaves this season....not saying much but KLING sux the life out of the team and needs to be blasted into outer space.

Care to elaborate what we could expect to see that would change what’s already happened? He plays under 8min a game and has been on for a hugely disproportionate number of goals against and not a solitary goal for.
What exactly would his redeeming qualities be??

Not saying he has redeeming qualities or not.

I'm laughing at the comment that he's the worst player to ever lace up for this over 100-years-old franchise after playing just 12 games lol

maybe.

So a player who has 1 game as a Maple Leaf and 0 points would qualify as the worst player to ever lace up for this franchise?

If he got 5 goals scored on him in 7 mins TOI probably.

Just watching Reaves he is possibly the worst skater in the league by a good margin and gets winded after a 20 second shift in the first period, his hands and IQ are nonexistent and he’s constantly behind the play. The other team scores on him at will because they’re basically on a PP whenever he’s on the ice except we get hemmed in even worse because we don’t at least get to ice the puck legally despite effectively being down a man.

Be honest, if you could pick between the following which one would it be?

45 second shift of Reaves-Kampf-Gregor
Or
45 second shift of Kampf-Gregor but we’re allowed to ice it
