i guess, although Strome might become something moreThat's like choosing between 2 13th forwards. Doesn't really make a difference.

I know you're on the east coast and don't watch west coast games, you just come here to talk **** but maybe tune into a game or 2. Virtanen is playing the best hockey of his career. Kid is flying lately. Can tell his development has taken the next step.
This is just one example. I know it's the "in" thing to do on this forum to write off 21 year old Jake. But he's going to turn into something special himself. Has all the tools to be an impactful NHLer for many years. He is often the most noticeble player on the ice lately. In a good way.
I knew they'd been playing better but dayum, that's impressive.Arizona is something like 14-4-2 in their last 20 only to be 3rd to Nashville and Tampa in that span. Certainly wouldnt call them the worst team in the league.
3rd overall pick in arguably the best draft of the decade and still not good enough to play for the worst team in the NHL?
How this guy went before people like marner, hanifin, provorov, werenski, barzal, aho is beyond me.
If someone showed me a player that put up PPG+ numbers in AHL in his D+3, I'd probably peg that player as a future NHLer with huge upside.
Sure, but this should reflect upon the terrific talents in his draft class for setting such a lofty standard, and on Arizona for picking Strome above these.Whether it's fair or not, it looks worse for Strome based on his draft position, and then add that to the fact that he's been blown away by seemingly half of his draft class
Really? Do you follow prospects AT ALL?How this guy went before people like marner, hanifin, provorov, werenski, barzal, aho is beyond me.
Is this supposed to hurt me? Because yes. I hope we do finish last. I want a better % at Dahlin. I cheered when your pathetic franchise won in the shootout tonight.
Strome himself doesn't become a better or worse player due to where he was picked or how other players in his draft has performed.
Uh...no.It's the same thing with the Leafs trading the two 1sts for Kessel and then that pick became Seguin at 2nd overall. Kessel was doomed in Toronto from there on out.
I'd take Strome over Virtanen going forward still, quite comfortably
ya, but does the yotes organization? Lol. You’re a kid, relaxReally? Do you follow prospects AT ALL?
