I've been a fan of Brown for a long time but this season has been very very... underwhelming. I don't know what's going on with him.
Honestly if Edmonton really wanted him I would have traded him for a prospect/pick. We need the cap space anyway.

It was better to keep him for the playoff push. He's capable and good for depth. This off-season though I agree. I'd be pushing for picks but the Leafs might want a warm body, likely a defenseman with good metrics for him.

I think he's miscast and his game has gotten away from him.

I think he will be a nice buy low option for someone.

I think so too. If I'm a team in need of better wingers, he's probably at the top of my list for a buy low. At the worst, he's a good PKer good for 10-15 goals and 30 or so points if he gets middle line minutes.
