As others already said, Nico is the bright spot in this horrible season. He keeps proving that he can carry his own line and be the go to guy. Nico doesn't need Hall to look great. He IS great all by himself.

Hey Devils fans... I heard about this kid... Name's Nico... He is a pretty good player, isn't he?

Hall's absence is a blessing in disguise for Nico. He HAS to shoot more and he's got a good shot. Hopefully it gives him more confidence

Nico just gets better and better. His shot was below average to average for the NHL last year, but it's already well above average, although I wouldn't really say it's that good yet. Hynes still doesn't really know how to use him on the PP, but I'm loving all the progression I'm seeing from Nico.
