I don't see the connection. Everything that I've read stated that she died unexpectedly of a heart attack. She also lived in Montreal, so why wouldn't he have requested a trade to Montreal if that was the case?

Like others have said, I feel terrible for him, and I'm glad that he scored a goal yesterday. I still hope the Rangers lose tomorrow.

I saw original reports that said something to the effect of she passed away unexpectedly after a long battle with an issue. Kind of an oxymoron, but could make sense in certain circumstances.

I'll be rooting for him tonight.

There is NOTHING in this world that will ever allow me to root for St. Louis again... I will root for a 1st round draft pick.

agree 100% though he's messing up my playoff viewing I can't stand to see his smut face.

So can someone with a better memory than me update the Callahan trade now? I guess the only thing pending is whether or not he resigns with us.

So the trade, officially, is:

Martin St. Louis
Conditional 2nd round pick in 2015 (condition if Callahan re-signs with the Lightning)

for

Ryan Callahan
1st round pick in 2014
1st round pick in 2015
Conditional 7nd round pick in 2015 (condition if Callahan re-signs with the Lightning)

Holy ****. Even if Callahan doesn't resign, Yzerman basically robbed Sather, especially with the way we draft.

EDIT: Fixed. Not as much robbery as I thought at first, but still a pretty damn good haul.

Wait, didn't the 2014 2nd become the 2014 first with the Rangers moving on? Am I wrong?

We don't have their 2014 2nd now.

So Yzerman takes a player who doesn't want to be here, and trades him, and essentially he doubles our 1st round picks for the next 2 seasons.

He hosed Sather.

BELIEVE IN THE YZERPLAN!
