Speculation: If you were Kyle Dubas, what moves are you making for the Leafs at the TDL?

They need grit and types of player tailor made for the playoffs.

Not necessarily stars, but the kind of players that have the nose for making big plays when it matters the most. The kind of players that makes all the little things necessary to win comes the playoffs.

Historically, Toronto ML always been hungry for big names that put numbers on the sheet, but they've not been so good in terms of creating team bonding.

They need players that'll show the way in terms of sacrifices needed to win it all.

I would trade five first round picks for Scott Mayfield and Semyon Varlamov.

You can't put a price on finally winning a first round playoff series.

They lost their last 2 playoff series by one goal, and while you can point almost entirely to the Tavares injury against Montreal you can't do that against Tampa.

You need to boost your forward depth, You need a Kane, Meier, Bertuzzi, JVR, somebody that can get you that extra goal, somebody that pushes Jarnkork down, which ideally pushes Engvall down thus making you deeper.

kerfoot and engvall to Chicago for Domi and Athanasiou with 50% retained

Morgan Reilly to MTL for Josh Anderson
that's worse than anything Craig button has ever said. The irony. When a guy tries to make fun of a hockey personality with his avatar and ends up going full R being more like that avatar than the guy he's making fun of. Slow clap...wow!!! Can't make this stuff up folks!!!

I guess the Leafs fans think they can out score teams and win playoff games 7-6. Any Toronto fan who is not looking to improve the D, goalie position AND get a shut down center iceman, is highly delusiona.

Sorry, delusional
Lol that is not a realistic list at all, all teams have areas they can improve they don't need all of that to win. Their Goaltending has been solid, their d has been strong, even with injuries their depth through the organization showed and tested well. IMO they Need a top 6 impact forward, preferably one that can play 3rd line C and/or shift to the LW on the second line. An upgrade at D if attainable and moves the needle than sure, but it's not a must have.
