On the flip side it will have the team that drafted and willfully employs Tom Wilson so... maybe.
Fox + Drury both 1+1 in win for Harvard last night.
Fox up to 14 points in 6 games.
How come Arizona State has a big time college hockey program and the Triangle doesn't?

some nice prospect porn in that video. 0:42 Adam Fox takes the puck and roofs it from a sharp angle. then shortly after Drury gets leveled in the neutral zone, before tucking one in on the power play.
Unfortunately the only thing most people care about around here is college football, and even moreso basketballThey’re only in their 4th season too and they now have a respectable hockey program.
It’d be amazing to get State, UNC, & Duke onboard for some NCAA hockey. The NC State vs UNC backyard brawls already draw like 3,500-4,000 people, and it’s club hockey.
Plus I think getting competitive college hockey would be a great way to grow the interest of the game in the Triangle. But I know this will never happen.
Women’s hockey has a better chance of becoming a reality before men’s just for that reason. The simple answer is: Title IX
The complex answer is that shouldn't stop them but there would be a requirement to add a women's sport with as many scholarship opportunities.

Love the headline lolCarolina high on Cotton from Texas
Decent right up on David Cotton. He’s having quite a nice year so far.
What are the chances that Necas plays at the WJCs for the Czech Republic? I am asking from a Colorado perspective as Kaut apparently will play and it would be nice if he has some elite forward talent to play with. I am assuming the Chytil is out of the picture.
At this point the chances are high he will be allowed to go to the WJC. Only way I see Necas not being released is if they call him up to the NHL and he starts piling up points.
Canes want to boost Necas’s confidence and get him big minutes. WJC should provide both.
I hope Necas plays at the WJC. Playing for national pride often helps players. My guess is the extra coaching is also valuable as having someone explain technical adjustments in your native tongue must be at least a little more efficient.
