Lol Bill Simmons and Cousin Sal were musing on their podcast last week about how no one had been fired yet. "Will anyone be fired this season"

There's one.

weird timing, if you told most Browns fans that they'd be 2-5-1 [with your rookie QB looking pretty decent] after facing Pitts twice, New Orleans, Baltimore, and the Chargers, I think they'd be ok with that record

The issue was dysfunctional front office and it’s been that way for a few years now.

If you add in his record with the Raiders, he's going to go down as the worst head coach in the history of professional sports.

Stories saying it's second worst winning percentage among NFL coaches with at least 40 games. Nobody saying who is worse. Rod Marinelli, maybe? David Shula?

EDIT: Probably Bert Bell.

I think it was Bell, and he was coach/owner so he couldn't be fired anyways, apparently.

No clue why Jackson wasn't fired after last season's debacle.

This is long overdue and Brown fans should be happy

How he escaped axe after going 1-31 his first two years and capping it off with 0-16 year was just baffling

They need to get a QB guy in there. Got a decent foundation on defense, a good young QB that can lead and some nice skill players. Make a good coaching hire and this team is in the playoffs next year.

According to a source, Jackson was told by ownership that the team had quit on him and that he wasn't doing a good job of leading. They told him that his offense and defense had regressed

Jackson planned to meet with ownership Monday in hopes of taking back the offense, which has struggled all season, and possibly getting the Haslams to agree to firing Haley.

Instead, it was Jackson who was let go.

Jackson was going to blame Haley for everything and throw him under bus as scapegoat

Hue got everything he deserved and his reputation as a sleaze who blames others for failings once again proves true

Pretty amazing to think that virtually anyone they hire (literally insert any noun as coach) can stay above the bar Hue set these 2.5 years.
