Just curious: what would you be willing to pay for Huberdeau?

-LW 6’1 200lbs Turned 27 in June
-3 more years under contract at only 5.9per
-30g for 92pts in 82 games last season
-On pace for 27+g for 92+pts this season

returns can be structured in only one of two ways, either:

-Top pairing D (be conscious of age and remaining years)
-Top-4 D + 2nd line center (be conscious again of the same thing for both)

you can have multiple pieces in any deal, but they must be centered around either a top pairing D, or the combo package of a top-4 D and a 2nd line center

Why would Fla move a core player in his prime, after bringing in Bob and coach Q, which were win now/soon moves.
Contenders have multiple top guys.
Moving Hub seems illogical to me. Use other assets to fill need.
They wouldn’t. It’s late and I was curious, I was more thinking of a scenario where we lose our play in and get Laf. In that unlikely scenario I would move Huberdeau because we have big holes to fill such as more quality top-4 D to add to ekblad and weegar, and a longterm 2nd line center since at the moment we have nothing behind Barkov.

otherwise I’m absolute against trading him. Just seeing where his value stands

What a huge mistake. This guy is dang close to elite. One of the nhls better LWs. Easy top 10 LW in the league.

Rumour was they wanted to cut costs.

They shouldn't move him but never doubt the power of poor ownership.

As elite as Huberbeau his, you are asking for pieces that no team will let go for a winger.

LMFAO Dreamer Huberdeau is every bit worth as much as Eichel. Not a trash offer like the #8 pick and Montour.[/

I think Eichel is younger, a center, locked in longer albeit at a much higher cap hit and the better player. The cap hit difference will disappear when Huberdeau goes USA in 3 year. The thing to note is Huberdeau was a 50 point player at Eichel’s age.

Curious to hear from a devils fan: if Rossi fell to 7th would you trade 7th and 10th for Huberdeau?
