Usage and teammates...

Last yr, Sutter played the most with Downie and Spalding.

Sutter 80gms, 21g, 33pts
Downie 72gms, 14g, 28pts
Spalding 82gms, 9g, 27pts

This he could see the likes of Higgins (36pts), Hansen (33pts) or Dorsett (25pts)....

So he should be on par with past production... I'll vote 31-35... and pray something synergistic happens on his line and he hits 40...

Could see it as...

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Baertschi-Horvat-Vrbata
Higgins-Sutter-Dorsett
Prust-Vey-Hansen

Picked the 35-range. Methinks about 20 goals, 15a is right. Anything more would be a pleasant surprise as a 3C.

If he ends up as the 2C over Horvat...different ballgame.

I don't think he's as offensively inclined as Bonino and Bonino produced 42points/82.

I would expect him to be in the 30-35 point range if he can find chemistry with some linemates. Could be lower if saddled with Dorsett's and Prust's in a checking role.

He'll be money for 40+ and 25 goals if he plays with some talent and decent PP minutes. Hes very good off the rush. Get him the puck with speed in those situations and hes gonna produce. Playing with 4th liners isnt real ideal for him.

He wanted a bigger role. You got the best player in the deal.

I picked 26-30. He isn't a skilled player and he won't be playing with skilled players. He's another foundational piece in a house of cards.
