He was on the weak side. He took closed on barkov and took away the middle of the ice. What happened was far from his fault. When you stop a zone entry the first two players to the net shouldn’t be the opposition on the reset. You have three forwards that watched the puck go in front of them across the ice and all three never took there eyes of the puck. Ceci closed off the middle of the ice like he should have. What happened behind him has nothing to do with him?

Ceci is an RD. That’s his job to close him off. I understand Barkov is probably going to dangle him regardless...but at least do better. He was fishing, not even trying to block the lane.
