The choice of Brady would be one time where the 1st star should be on the losing team and not be a goalie.

Would like to know how many of Tkachuk's shots were actually dangerous. I remember one was a dump from center ice.

I don't understand this way of thinking..

On the PP the Ds that are playing : Chabot, Wolanin, Demelo

Ds playing with an empty net.. Ceci, Chabot and Wolanon

How does it make sense? Ceci..

I really like Gibbons.. He should be signed imo. He is small... but he really hustles and he contributes. He uses his speed through his whole shift... pushing the attack either with the puck or giving the puck carrier an option and he is usually first forward back and he works it out from deep in his end..

Psssst, guys can you scoot over and make some room for me on the Brady Tkachuk late bandwagon? He was a monster this game!

Brady's 12 shots on net is unprecedented for a rookie. Wonder who else in the history of NHL did it if ever.
That also tied franchise record for shots in a game.

Meanwhile,

"Great two way player and top under 25 Senator" Chris Tierney since we started scratching Matt Duchene and the other UFAs: 17GP 3 goals, 3 assists, -11, 16:58 ATOI.
To be fair, he wasn't even voted in our top 10 of players under 25. Yes, there was some debate near #10, but only with prospects at the fringe of even being NHL players. So, no, that's not really a thing you need to sarcastically claim.

He tied a team record... with JASON YORK. I like York as much as the next guy, but I don't think he would have been in my top 100 guesses for "most shots in a game"
