Barrie's penalty was bs but that was just a good play by McDonagh.

McDonagh has been way better this season than he was last season after being traded.

Yeah didn't think he was all that great in the playoffs. Kind of wondered what about the extension but he's always been a very good defenseman, especially in his own zone.

You coulda called a hook on eithr that play or the Dano chance shortly aftr, esp. in light of the BS call which led to the game’s lone goal. That said, fun game to watch. Both teams fast as ****

Offside is easily my least favorite rule in hockey, at least when a guy is carrying the puck into the zone.

Pretty much. I can understand the safety issue for Icings. Don't want people crashing into the boards and all that. I just don't like how Off Sides has been regulated to a minuscule thing.

A lot of guys have looked great tonight. Mackinnon has looked great, McDonagh Kucherov, Joseph, Girard have been very noticeable in a good way.

If the game ends 1-0, Vasy, Kuch, and Varly will be the three stars most likely.
