My cousin was a Fightin' Texas(A&M) Aggie for a year and couldn't handle the weird cultiness..Had to transfer. In high school we had this crazy storm with 120 MPH winds , lots of tornados, and hail that piled up several feet deep making it look like a winter wonderland. I was obsessed with weather for awhile and thought I was going to be a meteorologist. Even took a tour of the local NWS. Never happened though.

I'm a second gen Aggie, and I've always loved being on campus so far, don't expect that to change.

If you're talking about the tour at OU, I know exactly what you're talking about - I've been on that too. Actually want to try and go to grad school though if it plays out right.

Skål!

Yeah several times a year I can just walk around the city and think, "Damn is this city beautiful". Then there is other benefits like it being a relatively safe and friendly place to live in. The only real downside is the weather at the winter, it's so damn dark.

Been to Göteborg (Gothenburg in english) once, great city too.

Wish you best of luck on you finding a place to live here. :)

It does certainly get dark and cold, no doubt about that. In fact the wife and I will be there in 10 days!

I'm a Sooner and lol at A&M. Have fun joining a cult and being brainwashed for 4+ years.

Lol pretty hard at this. It has nothing to do with the school, just the family in which someone is raised. I went to A&M for 3 years and couldn't be less "brainwashed".

Creed, sure. Those other two really couldn't have anything less to do with cult like activity. Sounds like you just hate A&M.
