Jorma Taccone's on this show? I haven't given this show a shot yet. From the commercials I've seen I was like, "Hey. That looks like Jorma." Didn't think it was.

Okay, so I felt as though this show tried too hard, but I don't feel that way anymore. It's a subtle jab on people like me. These are the type of people I hang out with. The main character/creator-writer knows about all of this too. Pretty much making fun of the people she knows and herself, in a very subtle way. I'm actually liking this show now.

I'm honestly not sure what is drawing me to this show now. I enjoy it, but it's not funny and all the guys really are douchebags. Heck, who on this show is likable. They had a chance to have one likable dude with the former camp guy, but he turned into a dick too. I'm starting to wonder if this show really is for me.

That was the best episode so far. Shoshanna got more likable and so did the wild child chick who I can never remember her name. Needed more Marnie though.

I sort of liked it, though mainly because of the end. "Hannah's Diary" is to hipsters as "Scotty Doesn't Know" was to me in college. Ah, hilarious anthems of angst and youth!

Lena Dunham needs to stop taking off her clothes on camera. No one, I repeat, no one, needs/wants to see this. I keep watching this show because the characters make me angry. There are people like this who exist and I can't stand them. It would be better if they all got punched in the face at some point though. I feel like I shouldn't support this show though because it seems wrong that someone who had a rich, spoiled upbringing is now making money off of a show about living a rich, spoiled existence.

It's meant to be a somewhat realistic program and last time I checked girls who are not perfect tens often take their shirts off and even have sex on occasion. It's not a porno, if you are watching this show as a masturbatory aid I don't really know what to tell you.

After 3 episodes, I can't see more than that. The effect that show had on me was I'm so happy I wasn't that clueless at 24.

That's kind of why she made this show in the first place, it's original. It's not about her being attractive, it's about her being regular yet still existing. She has her character, um, her, take her top off to troll people like you and you can't help but rage. Sounds to me like she hit the right note.

They've fleshed out the characters a lot, even Shoshanna, the typical virgin character wasn't afraid to have sex, she was actually pushing the guy to do it. I thought everyone was a caricature in the first episode, it's nice to see they're not so one dimensional.
I need to get HBO back. Even if it's a show about girls it seems very in tune with what a lot of us have been or are going through as post grads & putting a funny perspective on it. I haven't seen anything from the first episode because it was free but it sounds good.
