John Gilmour has 4p in 5gp.

Looking as good as his stats so far. Needs to polish his D, but excellentin the O, transporting the puck, knowing when to shoot and when to pass, seeing the ice and the teammates. The D is not a huge problem, so he should make the NHL.

Dylan will be a major help for the Wolf Pack.

Gilmour - McIlrath
Graves - Paliotta
Bodie - Hughes

That's how I would play it, but Kenny G likes Bodie-McIlrath, which I think is terrible.

Who has Gilmour been playing with? I'm thinking McIlrath would be a good partner for him.

in these last 2 games with Bodie out,
they've been playing Paliotta on R with either\both Graves\Gilmour as sorta top 3,
and filling out D with Summers, Hughes, Calle

so they could keep Paliotta with Graves, and pair Dylan w Gilmour,
rather than pair the 2 big guys together

will be interesting to see whether its Hughes or Calle bumped from the RHD rotation

and when Bodie returns, who else sits ... Ranger prospect fans will wish it to be Summers, but the coaches ...

Bodie-Calle would be a disastrous pair defensively. Might as well not play defense at all then. Bodie-Hughes would be very solid as a third pair. If Kenny G keeps Calle in the lineup, then expect:

Bodie - McIlrath
Gilmour - Paliotta
Graves - Calle
(Graves and Gilmour may be flipped for one another)

Graves and Gilmour are the reasons why I don't have problem moving Skjei.

Yeah, man it'd be so nice if one of those guys was a righty...

Hard to see where they can slot in for the next few years unless they start learning to play the right side and show they can handle it well. As you say, maybe Skjei does get moved and Gilmour is called up or maybe Staal is moved at some point, but not sure that's likely.

Dunno, you hope all those guys can make it but there's not enough spots for them. Again, maybe if they can magically play the right you could roll with at least one of them on that side

Did like what we saw out of Gilmour a lot and it'll be interesting to see how the organization views him. Could quickly become one of their top prospects there

Skapski is funny isn't he? Guy is at best average at the minor league level. Steps up plays really well in limited NHL action. He was great in the preseason.

Well he's still kind of coming back from injury...he played well in preseason but back to regular games is still probably an adjustment.
