I’ll never forgive Smail for burying his head on a 2-1 with Thomas Steen late in the 3rd period of game 6 against the Oilers in 1990, and promptly blasting it 4 feet high and wide. As he was prone to do.

If Smail gives Steener that puck before the blue line, they would have scored and very likely changed the outcome.

Alas, we all know the ending.
