I can see the Habs MAYBE moving Allen to the Sabres? Or trying to find a home for Edmondson or Chiarot
this is 1000% not happening. i promise youI can see the Habs MAYBE moving Allen to the Sabres? Or trying to find a home for Edmondson or Chiarot
caufield about to be eliminated, lol and up until a few games ago--danault has not been better than stall..I haven't really watched the Canadian division, why would they dump Tatar or Danault?
Edit: I just can't imagine that Staal is an upgrade to any of those players.
According to Capfriendly Montreal only has $822,000 at the TDL to make any moves. So Bergevin wants to clear out more space.Doesn't Montreal have like 2M in capspace left which should be more then enough fro Staal(and his pro rated 3.5M contract)?

Any team the Habs give up enough picks to in order to absorb his contact.Who would take Byron's contract though
Or signed Edmundson at all....perhaps he shouldn't have signed a 4th liner like Byron to a 4 year, $3.4 mill per deal, then...or paid Chairot about twice what he's worth...

I bet it costs more. Add a 4th to that. Or just 2nd in 2022 instead.I mean he's a 4th liner payed about 1.5 million too much for 2 years. Prbly cost a 2nd at this point.

Eddy has been real solid for the Habs, and a plus 24 to lead the team...Or signed Edmundson at all.
At this point Im about to drive him all the way to Colorado myselfThe Avs are still available to take Danault off your hands
The extra 4th is negligible to the Habs at this point. Even after the Stall trade we still have 12 picks this year and had something like 40 over the past 3 years.

habs should be using those 2021 picks to shed bad deals. 2021 picks don’t carry as much value as usual so the pick compensation may look odd to us.
A few of those 2021 picks should be sufficient to send Byron packing.I mean aside from Byron we don't have any bad contracts to move. Like we need Price.
Allen isn't going anywhere. He's been great. He might go in the expansion draft, as they expose him over Primeau, but as far as this season goes I'd be shocked if he moved.I can see the Habs MAYBE moving Allen to the Sabres? Or trying to find a home for Edmondson or Chiarot
Lol what ? Allen hasn't won a game in like 2 monthsAllen is their real #1 goalie this year, not the 10.5M guy - he's not going anywhere.
Danault is going to be traded soon along side Byron.Who would take Byron's contract though
