I haven't really watched the Canadian division, why would they dump Tatar or Danault?

Edit: I just can't imagine that Staal is an upgrade to any of those players.
caufield about to be eliminated, lol and up until a few games ago--danault has not been better than stall..
but you're right - unlikely either gets moved

The extra 4th is negligible to the Habs at this point. Even after the Stall trade we still have 12 picks this year and had something like 40 over the past 3 years.

habs should be using those 2021 picks to shed bad deals. 2021 picks don’t carry as much value as usual so the pick compensation may look odd to us.

I can see the Habs MAYBE moving Allen to the Sabres? Or trying to find a home for Edmondson or Chiarot
Allen isn't going anywhere. He's been great. He might go in the expansion draft, as they expose him over Primeau, but as far as this season goes I'd be shocked if he moved.

Why would any team want to help out MTL by taking a bad contract if they're only being offered a 2nd round pick? It'd take multiple 2nd's or a 1st before I'd even consider taking a player with term
