So, they've taken Caufield and their soon to be $7,85M center off the 1st PP unit, because Suzuki is bad at faceoffs. Apparently they can't just load up one unit and play Dvorak and Suzuki together. The principle of depth must reign supreme in every situation I guess. I will take the high road and assume it's not because such a move would expose some redundant players on the other unit.

Also, Dvorak was a killer in the bumper spot in Arizona. Nice to see we are not deploying him in this role.

Surely, they are just trolling at this point.

It's a pipedream, but imagine Brooks really "clicks" with Hoffman and Gallagher.

That would give:
Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - Dvorak - Anderson
Hoffman - Brooks - Gallagher
Perreault - Evans - Armia

We need sustained pressure to be effective offensively. No one line alone can carry us.

Having 14 and CC play about 30 seconds on a PP is typical Mtl.

And it has just started. If you think a guy like Hoffman will not complain having to play with Evans, I got news for you.
