Johnson before the third period: “Talbot is not getting a shutout in this one”

Habs: Is that meant to be a challenge?

Price's body langage was encouraging. This is a victory in that sense. You can see he is the real captain of this team. Good news for next year. His teammates still look up to him. He's the head wolf of the pack. You could see it in their body langage. You could see Price pumping his arms up after the game, he's satisfied with his performance, it will follow next season. And you could see his teammates looking in his direction with puppy eyes.

Petry got tripped up on the same play a couple minutes earlier in the other zone, but the other way, it's good enough to warrant a 5 on 3. That's what he was upset about.

Then the wild call a timeout for an inconsequential 5 on 3 instead of letting the game run out.

That's some dickish stuff.

Perfect tank type loss

Competetive, not blown out

Price looked relatively strong. Be interesting to see his form if he stays healthy. His puck movement alone i think reduces at least a goal per game against
The score line was competitive but it was essentially watching an NHL team versus an AHL team. Wild were skating circles a lot of the time.
