Le Tricolore
Boo! BOOOO!
Makes sense. He's an NHL body on a team with a ton of injuries. He's also making league minimum and is on an expiring contract.
source? How close are Habs to 50 contacts? Maybe Dach out longer than we think.
Edit: just saw that he is indeed out for a while... Damn
Also Dach, Armia, Wideman and Edmundson. The injured list is at a point of requiring this I gues
Out right now, Price, Monahan, Byron, Gallagher, Evans, Slafkovsky, Caufield, Guhle and Xhekaj ouch
You can make that argument for sure. I always thought he was decent in Ottawa.Tierney is better than Dvorak.
I'd love to know his story.... his numbers in SJ were good, initially in Ottawa as well, then he seems to go downhill fast.... to the point Ottawa didn't qualify him and he ended up a UFA on a league minimum 1-year contract.Tierney was pretty good when he first arrived to Ottawa.
He is just a warm body at this point.
Another player our medical staff can screw up.
Saw in the injury thread, something about the flu like symptoms was due to lower body injury. Needs further testing.source?
Not sure about that. If Evans was on the Panthers, he might have been put on waivers and played AHL as well. I like Evans but he's not better than Tierney. I expected Evans to take a step forward this year but he didn't. Lets look at both their last full seasons.... Evans put up a bit more points but after that, I see similar value when I look at block/hits/takeaways/giveaways per 60 min's.
I think we get similar value to what Evans provided us this year before he got injured. The gap is not massive.
The real cost to Montreal is likely signing one less college UFA due to a lack of contract slots...I believe 47 is correct.
He apparently had back problems, but his attitude on the ice point toward "I'm not giving a flying ****" sometimes too.I'd love to know his story.... his numbers in SJ were good, initially in Ottawa as well, then he seems to go downhill fast.... to the point Ottawa didn't qualify him and he ended up a UFA on a league minimum 1-year contract.
Injuries ?
Thanks. He apparently had back problems, but his attitude on the ice point toward "I'm not giving a flying ****" sometimes too.
They can always put Tierney back on waivers if necessary for that purpose. The real cost to Montreal is likely signing one less college UFA due to a lack of contract slots...
Thoseb good college UFAs rarely want to sign here anyways. The real cost to Montreal is likely signing one less college UFA due to a lack of contract slots...
Armia and Dach are injured-ill. And the depth in Laval is very shallow.body so we can make a trade?
Broken foot that turned into gangrene.Wait, I thought Dach had a virus. Now he's injured ? oh well. Last 2 seasons have been insane.
