Honestly, thats completely reasonable lol.I just can't count right now lol. I'm just assuming we lose our next game and Vancouver wins their next lol

Even when we win we lose.Looking at it another way though, that early season comeback win vs. Winnipeg basically cost this team:
Strome for Spooner
Caggiula for Manning
Petrovic
Koskinen x 4.5M x 3
Another 3 months of TM
Another wasted season of McDavid
+/- 4 months of Hitch
They lose that game, TM gets fired, the clock on Chia starts 3 months sooner.
Anaheim had a 12 game losing streak and are tied with us in points. Also 4 points out of 3rd last. Impressive
The team was playing significantly better under TM though... they were carrying the play early in the season, even in games they lost. Now it feels like one giant game of cat and mouse.Looking at it another way though, that early season comeback win vs. Winnipeg basically cost this team:

Yet people here would laugh at the thought that the Ducks would make the playoffs.Anaheim had a 12 game losing streak and are tied with us in points.

The team had a better roster under McLellan and Klefbom wasn't injured. The team was playing significantly better under TM though... they were carrying the play early in the season, even in games they lost. Now it feels like one giant game of cat and mouse.

Funny how things work out. How much would that have changed things? Does Hitchcock even get brought in at that point or are we looking at Gulutzan? Who knows what Chiarelli might have done if the screws had been put to him at the middle of October instead of the end of December. Things may have ended up even worse, it’s not like Nicholson was stopping him from making destructive transactions.Looking at it another way though, that early season comeback win vs. Winnipeg basically cost this team:

They shouldn't have signed long term deals for a lot of money then. Who gives a **** if they want out? They signed effing contracts.Wouldn't blame McDrai one bit if they would want out..

I still think that Hitch would be a good HC for next season. You can't blame him for the paper thin roster depth.
I would be quite happy to go with Keith Gretzky and Hitch for the 2019-20 season.
Good on you for being easy to please. Keith Gretzky with MacT and Howson should be just what the Dr. ordered.
All I can say is pay Koskinen more. And then he makes that save.
We got 2/4 points, the sky isn't falling people
I think so. Pay reider too.Does that work for Lucic and goal scoring?
Bob and the OBC mouth breathed up all the ozone. This team has been a dumpster fire for over a decade. The sky is long gone at this point

The midseason moves of shipping out better players for worse players has definitely worked out exactly as Chia had planned. I'm willing to bet he saw the writing on the wall and was like "f*** it, if I'm going down, they are too."The team wasn't going anywhere anyways, not with this roster. Everything that's happened this season is just prolonging the pain and suffering, and with added damage from Chia's midseason moves.
Have you seen the Matrix?
It's kind of like that I think.
He played 63 games last season. You forget that goalies (good ones) in KHL/Europe are regularly called to play with their national teams during seasons. The guy isn't very good with controlling loose pucks and gives up rebounds. He looks fatigued easily and is hardly getting any work. 30GP. Wow. When this guy is our starter and expected to play over 60games whats going to happen. He's never played more than 41 games in any season. That's a problem waiting to happen.
