Well **** me. But according to most, Muzzin is an idiot and we all know he's physical so really what's the difference between him and Greene anyways? :sarcasm:

The hockey gods are quickly making up for all 6 defensemen playing in every playoff game last year.

Totally worth it though.

LoL wouldn't be a stretch to say the Kings might open the first month of the season, win less...

Muzzin is not really physical, he plays a more finesse game. He just has good size and reach.

Hopefully whatever happened to Greene (injury/illness/other) is not long term, since only COL was mentioned.

One small good sight:

lakings @Willie_Mitch33 is on the ice for full practice @lakings

Guess the Mayor or someone else at post pratcie interviews might have an update on Greene.

Great that Kopi is back...

Glad to read Mitchell is at least skating in practice.

They made it sound like he was going to be gone for months.

Looks like Muzzin might be getting PP time:

The Mayor John Hoven‏@mayorNHL

Sutter and Payne working with group of five on power play options - Kopitar, Carter, Richards, Doughty, Muzzin

Well that sucks. I thought he was arguably our best defenseman last game.

Good to hear the news about Kopi and Mitchell, though.

Greene played the whole game right? I think it might be a flu or a muscle tear from lack of games

Greene's injury apparently is neither upper or lower body:

The Mayor John Hoven‏@mayorNHL

#LAKings Sutter on Matt Greene's injury - 'Mid body, I don't know what you call it.'

Fancy way of calling it a cough

Doesn't sound like he's sick:

The Mayor said:
Classic #Sutterism here... Coach, do you know when Matt Greene got hurt? Sutter - 'During the game.'

The Mayor said:
#LAKings Sutter on Greene injury - 'He was one of the guys who played hard for us, so there was a chance he was going to get banged up.'

Why not use the unit from the playoffs with Richards on the point and Brown in there?

But I won't complain as long as Stool isn't out there.
