Ed Westfall seems to be the player with the oxygen mask.

Believe it is..... though my first thought was Dennis Hopper as psych job Frank Booth in David Lynch's film Blue Velvet.

.... and outstanding RGO!.... Great collection there & especially those shots of the little guy tromping into the house covered in snow, climbing over the boards. :D

1967 - California Seals in action against the Philadelphia Flyers during both teams inaugural NHL season. On December 8, 1967, the California Seals would be rechristened as the Oakland Seals in an attempt to bolster their attendance. The ends of the "C" on the crest would close, forming an "O."

Great pic of Seals at Flyers! Trying to see what game that might be from and looking up the schedule found an unusual occurrence - Oakland played at Philly on Oct.22, 1967 and then again a week later on the 29th. In between were 3 other road games. The Seals played the Flyers twice on the same road trip!

Wow, not exactly packin' 'em in at Kemper Arena for a titanic battle between 2 expansion teams! The Capitals played twice in Kansas City that year, Scouts winning both times. First game attendance was over 10,000, next game was over 6,000.

Seals against every NHL team. I think you can forgive me that not all are great photos, but it's neat to have all the Seals opponents at one place. I apologize if any of these have already been posted here or if I forgot any team.

Bless you...

.... yep. Ditto.... Some great shots there.... got quite the giggle over the one with Bobby Sheehan & 2 other Seals taken during a warmup, Bobby reposing ala Ken Dryden leaning on his stick, white skates..... Amusing too in that several shots were taken on broken plays, Keon losing the puck, Meloche unaware of where it is and in one shot, Mike Walton backed right into his crease & top of him. I mean, come, on. Gilles I hope took the lumber to him if a Seals Defender didnt get him outta there. WTF Shaky? Thats just brutal, letting some guy park it in the crease? Absolute no no.... Oh well. Seals Hockey.

Thanks RGO.... great finds. :thumbu:

Identifying some of the Seals in those pics....

vs. the Penguins, from left to right thats Hilliard Graves, Ivan Boldirev and Rick Smith

Against Vancouver, that's #22 Joey Johnston

Against Philly, going by the faces that's L-R, Gary Sabourin, Mike Christie and Bob Girard (RIP)

Against the Kings, that's #10 Stan Gilbertson, not #20 Hicke

So where did you get these pics? The B&W ones I know are from Ron Reisterer's site (he was their photog) but many of the others look like spectator pics shot from the stands.

Thanks for correcting and identifying some of the players.

^^^ Awesome. Love the old University, International, Senior & Minor Pro, Junior & amateur photos..... that one in particular brilliant catching the drama of the moment, disputing a call or sorting things out, love the equipment, intensity of the players, frazzled Ref, and of course the building & its clearly jam packed to the rafters.

June 11, 2017 - dejection on the faces of P.K. Subban and his Nashville teammates after losing 2-0 to the Penguins in game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals. The victory by Pittsburgh would represent their 5th Stanley Cup championship in franchise history.
