Was Witkowski assigned to GR this year too, or was he considered a full time NHLer. He may be worth a look in game 4 if D-Mac is out.

Or just play them both and with Smith we should have some protection

He went down for a day or two after clearing waivers when the Red Wings were tinkering with the roster to open up as much LTIR and SOIR space as possible, otherwise he spent the entire season on the NHL roster.

He wouldn't be eligible to play in the AHL playoffs.

Seems like he's already been doing a lot of fishing now that the season is over.

Wasn't at the game so can't judge Turgeon and Smith suspensions.

Smith suspension was given mainly on his reputation and to prevent further problems for Game 4. He hit a Wolves player behind the player and hit him under his chin and his head popped up. A minor penalty was called for it.

Turgeon hit looked more like he was trying to get around #9 as that player was standing still and clipped him in the boards and he was not prepared for it. It happened on the Griffins blue line in the 2nd period. No call was made and it did not look like much, but from my view, it looked like a player running into another player (who was standing still) and no intent of taking him out intentionally. But the league must have had a different view and saw it differently. That suspension will hurt GR more than the Smith one.

League deemed McIlrath hit as clean. He will be in the Griffins lineup tonight for Game 4.

Excited for this one. Gallant was being a little bitch during warm ups... I heard he stole the puck from McIlrath while he was puck handling during warm ups

Looks like I'm gonna have to drop $23 and mosey on down the road 4 miles to the Allstate arena on Saturday.

I’m debating do the same. Depends on how much excitement I want out of this weekend
