Arizona is no gimmie this season. Especially on a back to back. Wouldn't be surprised if they lost that one too.

Yes. I have higher hope in EP as a player than you do, obviously.

He's capable of MUCH better than this. Evidence being last season.

Like I said, if you think this EP is even half the player as last season's version, you don't think highly enough of him.

Last season's EP flirts with 120~ points this season, without a doubt in my mind.

He was incredible for the first half, and has been intermittent since.

I'm not saying he's playing his best right now, but he's human and slumps happen. I'm hoping he gets back in the flow of things by April 20th.

"Incredible" is a strong word for EP's first half of this season.

He was good but he wasn't last season's level. There's clearly been a drop off from last season to this season.

Last season's EP was taking over games like a genuine superstar and playing elite defense.

I think his defensive game has been excellent all season but his offensive game is nowhere near the superstar level it was.

Seems like it. The Canucks have been the better team in this period. It's as if it's just easy for a decent opponent to show up in spurts and get the goals they need and that's it.

Heck, watch Pettersson and watch Marchessault. You need a guy like EP to be consistently noticeable offensively. He was dangerous every time he touched the puck last season. We're not getting that this season at all.
