Well I think this trade is going to make it or break it for me. A few things.

Did I overpay? Yes, I overpaid but I needed to dump the large corpse’s of Bjugstad and Johnson (thanks Rutherford). This added to the cost as both are useless.

Did OEL have a bad season? Yes, however he is only 29 and he had 9 extremely strong seasons before this. On Pittsburgh he will have a reduced role on the second pairing with a defensively responsible John Marino to cover for his mistakes.

Confirm ARI needs to move on from OEL and getting 3 great prospects and a 1st is a fantastic return.

I think PIT’s 2020 1st is MIN property from the Zucker trade so its 21.
