Minnesota is looking at a complete rebuild. No one is completely untouchable though we probably will not move Backstrom, Koivu, and Clutterbuck. Bret Burns may be moved but it will have to be a very good deal. We are looking for young players and picks.

In another deal, the Montreal Canadiens have traded goaltender Jaroslav Halak and forward Andrei Kostitsyn to the St-Louis Blues for forward David Perron and St-Louis 2011 2nd round pick.

We also made two trades with the Dallas Stars. First, we traded defenseman Ryan O'Byrne, forward Glen Metropolit and future consideration for defenseman Stephane Robidas and forward Steve Ott. We then traded forward Benoit Pouliot for forward Alex Chiasson.
