If it'll get you to actually answer my PMs quicker, then fine, you can be Detroit :sarcasm:
And i dunno about Semin's status. He shows up on the RFA charts, but i'll admit i didnt really investigate it.

You're the one who put him in there, the charts I put into your post at the beginning of the game didn't have him.

The Los Angeles Kings are likely done for the offseason:

Ryan Smyth - Anze Kopitar - Justin Williams
R.J. Umberger - Jarret Stoll - Dustin Brown
Kyle Clifford - Michal Handzus - Wayne Simmonds
Scott Parse - Brayden Schenn - Brad Richardson

Rob Scuderi - Drew Doughty
Willie Mitchell - Andy Greene
Alec Martinez - Davis Drewiske
Peter Harrold

Jonathan Quick
Jonathan Bernier

Cap Space Available = $1,990,000
Total Cap Hit = $58,210,000

Trades:
To Columbus: Jack Johnson, Alexei Ponikarovsky
To Los Angeles: R.J. Umberger, David Savard

It was tough to give up a young defenseman like Jack, but you have to give in order to get, and R.J.'s playoff track record was too good of an opportunity to pass up. David Savard adds even more defensive depth to and already well-stocked prospect pool.

To Carolina: Matt Greene, Trevor Lewis
To Los Angeles: Dana Tyrell

This move was made strictly for cap space, and we got a nice piece in return in Dana Tyrell. Dana is a player that we see contributing from our 2nd/3rd line in the near future.

Top Prospects:
1) Jonathan Bernier (G)
2) Brayden Schenn (C)
3) Derek Forbort (D)
4) Andrei Loktionov (C)
5) Thomas Hickey (D)
6) Dana Tyrell (C)
7) David Savard (D)
8) Slava Voinov (D)
9) Colten Teubert (D)
10) Kyle Clifford (LW)
11) Shane Prince (LW)
12) Matthew Nieto (RW)
13) Nicolas Deslauriers (D)
14) Tyler Toffoli (RW)
15) Martin Jones (G)
16) Jeff Zatkoff (G)
17) Brandon Kozun (RW)
18) Jordan Weal (C)

:edmonton place Sheldon Souray on re-entry waivers.

If claim we will be responsible for half his salary and half his cap hit on our team, the other half to the team who claims him.

Salary: 4.5mil$ so 2.25mil$ - cap hit: 5.4mil$ so 2.7mil$

T_Cage, Parenteau is not a center. And he's probably one of the worst players in the NHL.

Nonsense, playing for the Islanders just gives the perception a player's no good :sarcasm:

I know he plays wing, but apparently most scouting says he can line up at C too (sbnation, hockeyforcaster, etc..), as the resident Isles expert though i'll take your word for it. And while i wouldnt use him any higher than 4th line minutes, he's decent 5-on-5.

Komisarek (must be a playoff team or lock to become one) and Armstrong are available. Won't be too expensive to acquire. Picks, prospects are the cost.

He's less than decent on the PP. He's absolutely brutal 5 on 5.

For the record, I really dislike what you did with the Kings. You traded a stud defenseman in Jack Johnson for a 50-60 point winger. While Umberger isn't awful, I don't think that's very good value for Johnson, especially since you were the one adding. You then traded a decent shutdown 3rd pairing defenseman and an iffy young player for an iffy young player.

The worst move you made in this game, though, is signing Andy Greene. Perhaps you should have looked beyond his point total from last year. The guy is a terrible defenseman and his offensive production has decreased (not that it was amazing anyway). A player like Andy Greene should be paid no more than $1.5M, and putting him on your second pairing is just asking for trouble.

After numerous deals weeding out the old for younger players and picks, we've put together a young team, supported by a few veterans. We by no means feel we improved for the playoffs, but with the development of Skinner, Dalpe, Boychuk, McBain, Alzner, Musil and others brings promise for the future.

Forwards
Erik Cole 'A' - Eric Staal 'C' - Jeff Skinner
Zac Dalpe - Tomas Flieschmann - Scottie Upshall
Zack Boychuk - Tomas Kopecky - Nathan Gerbe
Ales Kotalik - Mike Zigomanis - Jason Chimera

Defense
Matt Greene - Karl Alzner
Bobby Sanguinetti - Joe Corvo 'A'
Jamie McBain - Ty Wishart

Goaltenders
Cam Ward
Justin Peters

Noteable Prospects
David Musil, D
Tyler Biggs, F
Boone Jenner, F
Seth Ambroz, F
Taylor Ellington, D
Taylor Matson, F
Brian Dumoulin, D
Drayson Bowman, LW
Riley Nash, C
Justin Faulk, D
Mark Alt, D
Oskar Osala, LW
Mike Murphy, G
Jared Staal, RW
Chris Terry, LW
Michal Jordan, D
Danny Biega, D
Mattias Lindstrom, LW
Nick Dodge, C
Jerome Samson, RW

Hagman or Sarich available for a pick/prospect. If you missed out on FA, here the chance to grab a quality player without the bidding war!

:flames still weighing their FA options....expect more news to break tonight about another signing

Hagman and Sarich cannot be associated with the word quality.
