How will the Cup vote be decided? In-house or polls board?

You created a great team! Still not sure how you managed to keep under the cap but you did
Getting half of stone was a good play. Need to win the cup now because he won’t be able to afford much in the off season...nature of the beast.

Fortunately looks like I’ll get it

:flamesAre happy to have made the playoffs with Jake Allen finishing strong down the stretch. We are still open to any and all discussions and are actively looking to move James Neal and one of Mark Giordano or TJ Brodie for futures.

We have signed the following RFAs to new deals:

Sam Bennet: 2 years, 2,500,000
Matthew Tkachuk: 3 years, 5,000,000
David Rittich: 2 years, 1,000,000

Qualify:
Curtis Lazar
Spencer Foo
Kerby Rychel
Ryan Lomberg
Morgan Klimchuk
Josh Healy
Mason McDonald

:edmontonA bit bummed Tarasenko-McDavid didn't get more respect around the league but we understand the reputation that comes with the San Jose Sharks logo. We are still actively looking to move Milan Lucic, we will tack on big pieces to make it worth your while. Also looking to move Ryan Strome, Zach Kassian. Moving into 19-20, Kris Russel now has to submit a 10 team trade list so moving him is doable.

We have signed the following RFAs to new deals:

Tobias Reider: 2 years, 2,250,000
Jesse Puljujarvi: 1 year, 1,000,000
Ty Rattie: 1 year, 1,750,000

Qualify:
Juhar Khaira
Tyler Vesel
Patrick Russell
Colin Larkin
Joel Persson

Happy to be back in the playoffs and give Winnipeg a run for their money. This year we are going to build on this year and try to add more scoring help.

Re-Signings

Esa Lindell - 5.000M, 5 years
Mattias Janmark - 2.400M, 3 years
Julius Honka - 1.200M, 1 year
Jason Dickinson - 0.900M, 1 year
Gemel Smith - 0.900M, 1 year

Connor Carrik, Brett Ritchie, Jason Spezza, Marc Methot, and Roman Polak have not been re-signed. We aren’t opposed to bringing Spezza back, but need to figure out the cap situation first.

Dallas has nearly 20M in cap space so look for them to be big players in free agency and the trade market. Looking for a bonifide top six centre, winger, and a solid bottom pairing defenceman. Could also upgrade on our second pairing defence. Either right or left shot as Miro plays both sides.

Open to trading Nichushkin, Shore, Dickinson, Honka, Johns, Gurianov, Hintz, Tufte, Dellandra, Ericsson for upgrades.

2019/20 Roster (63.924M)

Jamie Benn (9.500/6) - Tyler Seguin (9.850/8) - Alex Radulov (6.250/3)

JT Miller (5.250/4) - Teuvo Teravainen (XXX) - Valari Nichushkin (2.950/1)

Devin Shore (2.300/1) - Jason Dickinson (0.900/1) - Blake Comeau (2.400/2)

Gemel Smith (0.900/1) - XXX

Esa Lindell (5.000/5) - John Klingberg (4.250/3)

Miro Heiskanen (0.894/2) - XXX

XXX - Julius Honka (1.200/1)

XXX

Once trading reopens, the UFA rights to Mark Stone and Jordan Eberle could be had for a mid round pick from a team looking to get a jump on a big name UFA.

JT Miller, Tyler Johnson, and Alex Killorn are also all available in cap clearing deals, preferably for future assets.

I know triple post but three entirely unrelated posts

Do we want to raise the cap a bit for the “next season?” Most seasons the cap goes up. Right now it’s at 80M do we want to raise it to like 82-83 or keep it there?

Realistically it should raise a bit so I’m on board with that
