Spin it however you want, PK is great offensively, but is NOT a good d-man. He's an adventure in his own zone on a nightly basis.
Subban isn't Lidstrom, but he's not that bad. The fact that he is offensively-minded means he'll get caught on mistakes from time to time, but he's far from the worst d-man.

If Spooner was able to do even 2 things well outside of skate, he'd be a full time Bruin. Claude has shown that if you can do a few things well, you play. The only kind of player that doesn't get opportunity under Claude is a pure offensive player, not contributing to the offence. We're struggling with our GAA 5 on 5 this season, Claude knows the solution to that isn't more Spooner. And so far with these last 2 games, he's not wrong. We gave up 15 shots to Buffalo, we're doing great here. I'm going to trust the dude who just got the 3 year extension over the armchair QB's.

Keep in mind that according to the armchair QBs Bruins management needs to go too, so signing Julien to an extension is yet another idiotic move

Trotman has an uncanny ability of getting pucks actually on net. Something a few vet blueliners could stand to learn. Very impressed with his game. Like I said, 5th rounder! A Chia 5th rounder.

Really liking Marchand's play this game, he's getting in the dirty areas and away from playing a perimeter style of game. He's trending in the right direction. Hope he keeps it up.

Trotman, Griffith, and of course Fraser all playing strong games tonight. Love to see the young guys stepping up.
