Win this, Sens playing a disciplined, if a little boring hockey right now, going to be a tough test

oh no.. if the sens play a boring game and boston claudes play a boring style we could be in for a snooze fest.. might as well make a track around the boards on both offensive zones and just keep track of "board battles won" to see who wins this game..

besides busting our offensive zone gameplan im still going to be an optimist.
3-2 b's .. louie , smitty and bergie and hopefully a even more comfortable joe morrow ..

we shall see, I`d take a good ol fashion 6-2 pounding of the Sens without arguement:laugh:

Are we really that boring? I find with all the young guys, we play an up tempo game trading odd man rushes.

Last game against Chicago, there was a 3 on 1 one way, followed by a 4-1 the other way, followed by 4-2 the other way, then a 2 on 1 the other way...in about a minute of play.

Our young guys are hard on the forecheck and hard on the backcheck.

You shouldn't see much lazy skating and soft play in the neutral zone.

It should be fairly up tempo.

Can't wait to watch Morrow, I liked his 1st game. If he improves I think we have a keeper, really nice to see.

I have yet to watch a game the Hawks play which has been boring, they force opponents to skate.

Watched the Sens alot (get em a ton down here), I appreciate their game, play a disciplined style, I`m actually surprised with some of the speed in lineup that they actually don`t play as free flowing as they probably could more

The reason they don't do it more is probably because of their back end. Aside from karlsson and ceci, they can't break up ice that well. With gryba, borowiecki,Phillips, cowen they all play a defensive physical game. None are good at skating and passing.

That's where Boston will try to capatilize. Hemming these big slow guys in their zone.

I'm gonna miss this one.

I'm going to a UNH football game to watch the marching band (not really a football fan but my daughter is in the band).

The Dems are not Toronto or Buffalo so I'm not too hopeful they can win this if they play anything like they did on Thursday. Getting the puck out of our zone is going to be the key and so far this team hasn't shown they can pass the puck out of the zone and successfully apply pressure in the offensive zone.

I will be keeping up with the game as much as I can.

So I'm going to a couple cooking thing with my girl tonight.. so i'll be missing all of this game and just getting updates.. this mixed with the fact I don't hate the Sens (and it pisses me of that I can't hate them more) that I hope the B's come out on top.. I don't care how they win.. just ****ing win.

we expecting those lines, or the bizarro lines from Buffalo?

No AM skate today.

Those were almost 100% the lines at prax yesterday, except Krejci was out (Claude says he's playing tonight), Kelly skated 1C in his place, and Fraser took Kelly's spot at 3LW.

Marchand and Smith had gold jerseys with Bergeron during prax, so that's why I'm assuming the lines are status quo again....but as always, we'll know for sure around 645p.

Canadians can see this on City - one of the few benefits of Rogers butchering Hockey Night in Canada. God, it's barely watchable.

I know it's terrible so far isn't it. I always liked George Strombo as an 1-1 interviewer but he's been awful as the host so far.

Gone are the classy production values of CBC's HNIC.

On top of that we got the 2nd-rate Sportsnet hacks like Kypreos and Damien Cox all over the show.

Seriously, that Damien Cox gets this kind of a gig makes me physically nauseous.

As terrible as the new HNIC is, at least we get more games out of it.

Bruins have been on every Saturday so far. Can't complain about that.
