He’s done this before. It means nothing.
It may mean nothing but it may mean something. We really don't know yet and with everything going on who knows what he is thinking. Lots of people are moving out of california.

no, but a millionaire selling their home isn't anything new. people always see players selling houses as a sure sign that player is leaving and it's hardly ever the case.

Most people have no idea what the maintenance, upkeep and utilities are for a house like that, not to mention property taxes, mortgage, etc.. His gardening and water bill is more than most people's mortgage.

My speculative guess is that he's downsizing in anticipation of a reduced salary in future years. Keep in mind it can take a long time to sell a house like that.

Brought that up on the Habs boards and got beat up cause I mentioned trading Kotkaniemi

Personally, if we got Lafreniere, I would be after centers like Kopitar, Toews, or Getzlaf... if they were available. Some Habs fans think we will be better in 4+ years without our vets like Price, Weber, Gallagher, Petry, Tatar cause we have a top 5 prospect pool today. What they don't realize is the Sabres are struggling with Eichel and Dahlin and they are missing vets like we have.

Keep the Danault line in place. Then play Suzuki on the 3rd line. Find someone like Kopitar, Toews, or Getzlaf to play with Lafreniere. Suzuki and Kotkaniemi are not ready to play 1C with Lafreniere. I keep telling them this
Suzuki is doing well on the 2nd line C position and will most likely if he continues his trend upwards will be playing 1C for us in 1-2 seasons. Putting Suzuki on the third line is such a freaking waste hes our most talented center and you want to bury him on the third line? Your claims make no sense and it boggles my mind that we finally have a talented center that is blossoming at a pretty good rate and you you just want to dump on the third line to make room for some much older centers that most likely wont even bring us to the cup finals anyways.

There is only one #1 line. Then there is 3 "other" lines. It will take time for Suzuki and Kotkaniemi to be impact centers. Lots to like in what we see as flashes at the moment

No he didn’t Selanne did. He wasn’t even in the top 5 for team scoring.

get your facts straight how is that most points on the team????

Ryan Getzlaf lead the Ducks in playoff points, and was 5th overall in playoff points in those playoffs. He was also tied for 2nd in goals on the Ducks.

He basically came after Ottawa's crazy top line, and Lidstrom.

He also lead the Ducks forwards in time on ice.

Get your facts straight.

Suzuki is already having a positive impact though he needs as much ice time as possible to learn how to be a responsible 2C first then if he gets better move him up to 1C. Moving Suzuki down to 3C only hurts his confidence and his development. This is the time for our young players to play high minutes and start learning even if they make mistakes who cares we aren't winning anything anyways.

Read the thread over before you chat smack kid

We all read it. You called Getzlaf a passenger for the Ducks Cup winning team. He lead them in playoff scoring and all forwards in ice time. Was part of a small group (Niedermayer, Pronger, Getzlaf, Giguere) who would have been suitable Conn Smythe choices.

You failed badly, and should stop bumping this thread for more people to see it.
