Got a gig tonight, 2x 45min sets plus possible encores. The place has a buffet and open bar which also applies to the band. Free food, free beer, 100ish euros and a chance to play some rock covers. Yes please.

Depends what you order, but yeah, it can be excellent.

Also, they have one of the coolest marketing teams I've ever seen. Their Twitter is legendary, and their website is low-key hilarious. Seriously, check it out. The copywriting is fantastic.

Orange Juice

100% ORANGE COLORED SPHERE JUICE

Orange juice is delicious, particularly when it’s Tropicana® Orange Juice, but whoever decided to name this little nectar ball “orange” was either having a super lazy Friday or failed to create a very poorly thought-out naming mechanism for fruits.

If it was the latter, how many different fruits did they try to name before they realized there are simply way too few colors to keep it going. Eventually, some loud-mouthed agriculture department intern probably said “We could use shapes too”, which is another terrible idea since basically every fruit but a banana is spherical. At some point, they must have gotten to something like cantaloupe and were all like “What do you call this thing? How about uhh...an...off-white I guess? I don’t know, a beige? Ugh, this isn’t working."

They could have said "Yo, this is orange juice." But no, they actually wrote this. Got it approved by Taco Bell corporate, and published. Can't believe the meetings that probably happened before approval. It's a monumental achievement.

Likewise. It is also the best hangover food ever. Greasy, yet not super filling that you feel bloated all damn day. Bigger fan of eating 3 soft shell tacos over a Burger and Fries.

Hopefully anything living in your vicinity survived. Best advice is to remember the pain you suffered the next time you think Taco Bell would be a good choice.

Cookout is//was my favorite go to after a few drinks. Unfortunately there are none in Calgary. There also is no Piggly Wiggly, but at least we have one Chick-Fil-A. But it doesn't have a full menu tho

But at least it is something.

Damn it, now I want Bojangles and Zaxby's as well

Soda is easy for me to give up. Coffee I could: but I would need to find something else to wake me up. Alcohol I would cut you if you took it away after doing Iraqistan and Afghaniland under military law (meaning no booze or porn) I have shown I can go without it. But why? job is too stressful to do it willingly.

OMG Zaxby's. I miss the HELL out of that stuff up here. Caines is good. But Zaxby's was a whole other level.
