THe short meeting gives me a bad feeling.

UNless they have something to announce at 3:30 or something.

Possible but unlikely that Goodenow was pushed by the union to get the best deal possible and now realizes this is the best deal he's going to get.

Could be putting it to a vote maybe?

Well, no season I guess. My bet is that they don't negotiate until September.

I predict that if this isn't going to go back to a vote that players and owners are gonna starting coming outta the woodwork in mass talking trash.....not so much about each other..but about their leaders....

The offer is only going to get worse and worse over time.

What I don't like... NHL revenues will drop, let's say it ends up at $1.5 billion for 2005-06. 55% of that equals an $27.5 million salary cap... how the heck are they going to work that one??
